Typical of the Folded Line is the wonderful, sharp grounded Damascus blade.

The hardness of the Folded Line is about 50 HRC. The sharpness and solidity would be sufficient for practical use but recommended for that are the Practical Line and the Premium Line.

Kappa (river child) is a mythical creature in Japanese mythology. It is a water goblin that tears into the deep and drowns people who come too close to a body of water. This extraordinary katana shows a kappa and an unsuspecting hiker on its hand-made ornamental rates.
