Iaito Line:
Iaito-Sports is concerned with the art of drawing a sword and uses specified strike techniques (Katas), but as formal exercise. Usually a blunt practice sword, the Iaito, is used for it. To develop the uniformity of body, mind and sword (Ki-Ken-Tai-Ichi) has priority. The highest master grade is reached if you dominate every fighting situation without drawing your sword anyway.
The blunt swords are made of hardened 420 stainless steel. This enables on the one hand a realistic practice feeling and on the other hand a easy care blade.

Kei-Ben Iaito:
Kei-Ben names the plain and practical designed sword. The black Tsuba features a discreetly aperture in the shape of two blossoms. Collar (Fuchi) and Pommel (Kashira) are also made in plain black.
