Retro charm meets modern LED technology: The Nitecore LR40 picks up on the classic army lantern and brings its character to your tent, patio or garden. It has three light sources. The warm light comes from filament-style LEDs and creates a cosy campfire atmosphere. The white light is suited to practical tasks. In mix mode both run together at the full 100 lumens. For emergencies, a red SOS signal can be switched on. You press the knob on the lid to switch the light on and off and to change the light source. Turning it adjusts the brightness steplessly. The built-in 4000 mAh battery delivers up to 65 hours of light, enough for about eight nights of camping. Four indicator LEDs show the charge level. The lantern charges via USB-C. Through the USB-A output, the LR40 becomes a power bank for smartphones and other devices. The rugged ABS housing sits on a sturdy metal base.
