Small in name, big in tradition: the Ti'Pot' by Coutellerie TMC comes from Thiers, the French capital of cutlery. It is made in the workshop of Hervé Theillol. The 8.5 cm blade of brushed Sandvik 12C27 is stainless, easy to resharpen and bears the maker's logo. It opens the classic way via a nail nick. The light birch handle feels warm and comfortable in the hand. A brass rosette and three stainless steel rivets add subtle accents. The backspring shows the craftsmanship at a glance: it is finely guilloché. A small recess at the base of the blade, the so-called poncetage, keeps the edge from touching the spring when the knife is closed. An honest, uncomplicated everyday pocket knife, made in Thiers, France.
