Its pure, elongated line invites calm, which is why this pocket knife from Hervé Theillol’s workshop in Thiers is called Zen. The slim blade of stainless Sandvik 12C27 holds its edge well, is easy to resharpen and resists corrosion. The deep black ebony scales are attached to the liners with hex screws, giving the knife a clean, modern look. The hand-decorated spine adds a discreet, elegant touch. When the knife is closed, a gap between the handle and the liners keeps the cutting edge protected. As a classic slipjoint with a firm cran forcé backspring, the Zen has no blade lock. Handcrafted in the TMC workshop in Thiers, France, and stamped TMC.
